The 100th Annual Meeting of the Western Section AUA will be held at the Grand Hyatt Resort on the Garden Isle of Kauai. We look forward to welcoming members and guests to Kauai!

Hyatt Kauai Reservations
Main Travel Dates: Arrival Saturday, October 26 and stay through Friday, November 1. Group rates available 3 days before and after based on availability. The Grand Hyatt Kauai is located about 15 miles from Kauai's Lihue Airport (code LIH).
Nightly discounted rates including comp resort fee:

Our group rates for WSAUA meeting registrants include complimentary resort fee, usually $55 per night, with many services such as in-room internet access. No charge for self-parking. Rates do not include tax, which will be added to your room account.

Rates do not include tax of 17.72%, which will be added to your room account.
Deposits and Cancellations: Your credit card will be charged for a two night deposit room and tax. Cancellations from 60 days to 72 hours before arrival will be assessed a one night room and tax charge. Cancellations within 72 hours of arrival will be charged two nights room and tax.
Family Travel, Bedding: Rates are valid for one or two adults per room. Additional adults over 18 are charged at $75 per night. Maximum occupancy is 4 per room. Children 18 and under are free.
Rental Cars
Sedans from $245 weekly, SUV's from $285, Convertibles and Minivans at $418.
Whether you prefer a Mustang Convertible, a Toyota Camry, an SUV or a Jeep, Avis Hawaii has a rental car for you at our low group rates. Group rates shown are for unlimited mileage and do not include taxes, gasoline, or optional coverages. Weekly rates are from 5 to 7 days. Discounted daily rates also available.
Airport Code: Kauai's airport is LIH (Lihue), about 30 minutes by car from the Hyatt Regency.
Alternate Accomodations
Just a few miles from Kauai’s Lihue Airport on tranquil Kalapaki Bay, the Royal Sonesta Kauai has been beautifully renewed as a luxury beachfront resort and spa. Featuring one of Hawaii’s largest swimming pools, your stay at the Sonesta will include numerous amenities and special touches throughout the resort such as four on-site restaurants, beach front massages, world class golf at Hokuala Ocean Course designed by Jack Nicklaus and more. Just a short walk away is a unique collection of shops and restaurants including famed Duke’s of Hawaii.
The Royal Sonesta is approx 20 minute scenic drive to our meetings at the Hyatt. It is only 2 miles from the Lihue Airport and offers a shuttle to and from the Lihue Airport.

As an added value benefit to help offset the commute cost, the WSAUA will cover your daily self-parking and resort fees + taxes. These charges will appear on your account but be taken off your final bill.

Self-Parking is offered at the discounted rate of $20 + tax (usually $30) . Self -Parking for your visits to the Hyatt Kauai is complimentary.
Reservations and deposits; A 2 night deposit + tax is required to secure your room. Cancellations from 60 days to 30 days before arrival will be charged a one night deposit, cancellation within 30 days of arrival will be charged two nights.

Koloa Landing is part of the Marriott Autograph Collection near Poipu Beach and located about 8 minutes by car from the Hyatt. Koloa landing offers spacious accommodations, beautiful swimming pools, and a host of daily activities to make your stay enjoyable. Poipu Beach is about a 10 minute walk. Close by is a shopping and entertainment area with a number of excellent dining options.
We are offering WSAUA reduced rates on deluxe studio’s, spacious rooms with kitchenette’s, balcony, and washer/dryer, and one-bedroom Luxury Vlllas, which feature a fully upgraded kitchen.

- One Bedroom Luxury Villa: $509
Plus tax of 17.962% and discounted resort fee of $29per day + tax (usually $39). Self-Parking is included with the Resort Fee. . Self -Parking for your visits to the Hyatt Kauai is complimentary.
Reservations and deposits; A one night deposit + tax is required to secure your room. Cancellations from 90 days to 8 days before arrival will be charged a one night deposit, cancellation within 8 days are subject to 100% of your stay.
